Teacher Voices: Georgia

How can we meaningfully engage our young people in food growing, preparation and cooking?

Georgia, a cook, believes that growing and cooking should play a central role in children’s lives, to benefit their health both now and in the future.

This short film is part of a series commissioned by The Harmony Project. Produced by filmmaker Jason Taylor at The Source Image, this collection of films highlights what parents, teachers and students have to say about how education can best equip our young people to engage with issues of sustainability. By making their voices heard, we hope to move forward the conversation about the role education should play in preparing students today to lead on the environmental issues they will face tomorrow.
